EPHS Dream Date

The Eden Prairie Student Council sponsored its annual charity Dream Date event on February 4th, 2010. At this event, date packages created by students who solicited donations from the community are auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Proceeds from the 2010 event were split between the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools and Make-A-Wish Foundation. FEPS received $10,000.

Subsequent discussions with the Student Council led to a commitment on its part to provide FEPS with half the proceeds from the next four Dream Date fundraisers. This has the potential to create a $50,000 fund generated by the hard work and creativity of EPHS students.

All monies raised for FEPS will go into a restricted fund and the interest earned will be granted for the benefit of Eden Prairie High School. FEPS is thrilled that the Eden Prairie Student Council approached us and helped create a vehicle that allows students and their parents to support a legacy of excellence.
