 Alma Mater Trotter
The Alma Mater Trotter (AMT) 5K Run/Walk is a US Track & Field Certified race route that begins at the Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) Aerie Stadium, travels through Round Lake Park and ends with a victorious finish in the stadium. A one-mile children's Fun Run is also held in the Aerie Stadium track.
Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged and invited to participate. If you walk, run, roll or stroll, then this is the race for you!
For competitive runners, the time clock records times and prizes are awarded to the  top finishers in the various age groups. Other top prizes, donated from generous local sponsors, are awarded to registered race participants, through drawings. Almost 100 prizes were awarded at our last AMT race! And ... each AMT participant receives an amazing gift bag!
The inaugural AMT was held in 2009. Now an annual event, the AMT takes place the third Saturday of September. The Alma Mater Trotter's goals are threefold: 1) Increase the visibility of the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools in the community, 2) Encourage EP schools alumni, students, faculty, staff and all community members to support Eden Prairie schools, and 3) Raise funds for FEPS teacher grants.
The Alma Mater Trotter is a morning filled with fun, friends, fitness and fabulous prizes!

2011 Race Results & Photos
The 3rd Annual Alma Mater Trotter was held on Sept 24, 2011. More than 300 runners & walkers participated in this year's event. Including racers, walkers, volunteers and students, over 500 people were in attendance! The weather was beautiful and a great time was had by all. THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our race by running, volunteering, and cheering on the runners. We very much appreciate your support! Check out the great photos and video below:
